Titan Mobile Shredding, Pipersville, Pa., has moved its operations into a 4,000 sq. ft. building that it will show off to the local business community at a November 19 open house.
The company was started in 2005 by Don Adriaansen and Bob Leventhal. In early 2008, based on its growth rate, the duo determined that a building to house its operations was a necessary next step in the shredding and recycling process. Recycling of the shredded paper has always been a “green” benefit for the customers of Titan Mobile Shredding, say Adriaansen and Leventhal.
As of September 2008, in addition to offering secure on-site shredding, Titan now has a plant-based shredder and baling operation housed at the 4,000 sq. ft. building in Pipersville (suburban Philadelphia).
The building allows Titan to compact the shredded paper into bales that weigh approximately 1,200 pounds that can be shipped directly to paper mills. “This streamlines the process by eliminating an intermediate step,” states a Titan news release.
“This also increases the security of the destroyed confidential paper,” Titan Mobile Shredding notes in its news release. “Most mobile shredding companies do not go to this next step. As the only locally owned and operated NAID AAA-certified mobile document destruction company, Titan focuses on the security of its clients’ information, convenience, legal compliance and recycling,” the release states.
The company says it is expecting 75 or more local business people at its Open House & Third Anniversary Celebration, which takes place at its Pipersville Plant on Wednesday, Nov. 19 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
